Demolition works in these spots in Malta cannot be carried out during the summer months
Are you a bit fed up of all the construction work, noise and dust that are right on your doorstep? Well, there might be a solution for you this summer! The Malta Tourism Authority (MTA), in collaboration with the Building Regulation Office (BRO) and the Planning Authority (PA) has published a list of streets in Malta and Gozo where excavation and demolition works cannot be carried out between 15th June and 30th September.
These prime tourist areas will be off limits during the summer months, so you can enjoy a noise, dust and demolition-free few months.
1. All streets in Valletta are off limits
2. Spinola Bay Seafront in St Julian’s is all ours this summer!
3. Tigne Seafront will be free of demolition works too this summer
4. The Silent City of Mdina will remain silent and peaceful!
5. Triq San Pawl in Rabat is one of the main streets in the locality that will be free of demolition
6. Hassle free journeys to the beaches in Mellieha are on the horizon!
7. Triq il-Luzzu in Marsaxlokk is another street to relocate to, offering fab views of the sea
8. All the streets in Birgu will be left alone this summer, too!
