Through a Facebook post, Steve Zammit Lupi, local councillor expressed,

"The aim of these new signs is to create awareness that the grass found around soft areas in Haz Zebbug has a number of benefits for the environment. In fact, plants like peppermint, fennel, thistle, nettle, and bugloss are the bees’ main source of food, as well as butterflies and other creatures."

These plants also brighten up the area due to their colourful nature.

Well done, guys! This is definitely a step in the right direction!
