Don’t you just love cruising along on Maltese roads, taking in the scenery? Yeah, so do we, until BOOM – your tyre hits a pothole (more like blackhole if you ask us). And while having potholes on our roads isn’t something new, this one is particularly special.

This pothole was snapped in St Paul’s Bay (close to the cinema), but it isn’t your regular pothole. The little bish is so deep, she could totally mess up a good tyre! Locals wouldn’t have it, and created a quick fix with a stick and a bright yellow cardboard box, showing drivers to “Oi! Go round this, xbin!” Creative, I guess?

Locals commented on the post, saying it was a quick “DIY project” and that you can be buried in that thing it’s so deep! One Facebook user even went as far as to allude to the legendary Minesweeper game. Nice one!
