If you're heading to Valletta this weekend, be aware that some main roads will be temporarily closed to accommodate the vibrant Carnival celebrations happening from Friday 28th February to Tuesday 4th March.

Here’s a breakdown of the affected roads and their closure times each day:

Friday 28th February

Triq Ġilormu Cassar, Triq Sarria and Triq l-Assedju l-Kbir (Great Siege Road) will be closed between 6 PM and 10 PM. 

Saturday 1st March

Triq Ġilormu Cassar, Triq Sarria and Triq l-Assedju l-Kbir will be closed between 3 PM and 10.30 PM. 

Sunday 2nd March

Triq Ġilormu Cassar, Triq Sarria and Triq l-Assedju l-Kbir will be closed between 3 PM and 10.30 PM. 

Monday 3rd March

Triq Ġilormu Cassar, Triq Sarria and Triq l-Assedju l-Kbir will be closed between 6 PM and 10 PM. 

Tuesday 4th March

Triq Ġilormu Cassar, Triq Sarria, Triq l-Assedju l-Kbir and Triq Sant' Anna will be closed between 6 PM and 11 PM.
