December’s weather has been kind when compared to the rain, storm and wind that wrecked the island in the weeks prior. Constantly shifting between bouts of grey skies and intermittent rays of hope (sun), and featuring the occasional drizzle, it hasn’t been quite as terrible as late autumn weather tends to be.
The weekend will kick off along the same lines, with mild temperatures and moderate amounts of Vitamin D up for grabs both today and Saturday.
However, the weather will start turning on Sunday with possible showers expected to characterise the day of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. This change in weather will kickstart a tumultuous week for the islands, with thundery showers and up to Force 6 winds forecast for the first half of the week.
With such a crazy week ahead, it seems like we'll have to make do with the good weather we have going for us while it lasts. Time for a Saturday picnic!
