Don’t forget, Malta! Daylight Saving Time to start Sunday 29th March
Better set a reminder!

Emma Galea

Consider this your official and gentle reminder that Malta is soon switching to Daylight Saving Time between the night of Saturday 28th March and Sunday 29th March.

As the clock strikes 2am that Sunday, it will actually be 3am, meaning you’ll get one less hour of sleep.

Of course, this also means that it will take much longer for the sun to set as the days start getting longer - summertime vibes!

Daylights savings time will persist until Sunday 25th October, 2026. This is when wintertime re-starts, and our clocks are shifted backwards by an hour once again.

Do you enjoy Daylight Saving Time?

16th March 2026
