Did you see it? Check out these stunning photos of yesterday’s rainbow across Malta
Between yesterday’s heavy rainfall and gloomy weather, Malta got a glimpse of sun in the afternoon which then formed an enchanting rainbow formed across the island.
While many localities in Gozo weren’t his as hard, central villages and towns in Malta experienced constant rain throughout the day. Msida, in fact, was hit with a total of 79.7mm of rainfall.
At one point many localities even reporting heavy hail.
It was, however, a great surprise when people saw the rainbow amongst the sun and clouds at one point in the afternoon. It was truly a magical sight!
This photo taken by ‘Dwardu Photography’ captures the marvellous double rainbow that formed in the late afternoon as it towered over Verdala Palace.
Another shot of the rainbow, captured by Sarah Jane Galea shows the colourful rainbow amongst the grey clouds with a hint of the sun over the Pieta Marina. Absolutely stunning!
The rainbow was also highly visible from Comino as shown below.
