Malta was just hit with an earthquake that was felt throughout many different localities on Malta and Gozo.
The earthquake has an estimate of a 4.4 magnitude.

It has been a while since Malta has experienced an earthquake, with the last big one occurring on the 21st March, 1972. The magnitude recorded back then was slightly higher at 4.5.
The earthquake was felt throughout many mediterranean countries including Italy, Greece, Turkey, Algeria and Albania
No injuries have been reported as of yet.
