We’re suckers for cats and dogs and their fluffiness. But on the odd occasion, we come across different species that are absolutely cuties and totally deserve our attention too. One of these little guys is Echo, the leopard gecko.

Mariah Bonnici, his mama, tells us a bit about Echo. “He’s about a year old and I’ve had him for five months now,” she proudly tells us. “He loves to sleep and eat a lot, and loves cuddles as you can see. I try to show him love every evening as he sleeps during the day.”

Mariah also has another leopard gecko, a three-month-old named Ice - but do they get along? “Since they’re both male geckos, we can’t keep them in the same vivarium. In fact, we keep them in separate rooms as male geckos don’t like it when other males are in their territory.” Sounds like us when eating chocolate cake!
