Craving real Italian food? This restaurant’s luscious dishes will tempt your tastebuds
And you can enjoy it all from the comfort of your own home.

Sarah Micallef

If you’re craving an authentic Italian cuisine expeience, allow me to introduce you to Grana – where delicious food is paired with a friendly atmosphere which is brimming with all the charm of Italy.

Grana

Tucking into the delectable dishes at Grana means that you only get to enjoy the very best ingredients which are not commonly found in Malta, so you’re looking at truly superior flavours from the chef.

Let me explain.

If you order a Caprese Salad, or a Pizza Regina Margherita, for example, you’ll be hit with an explosion of flavour upon your very first bite. This is thanks to the mozzarella di bufala DOP (Denominazione di Origine Protetta), which is produced in the Piana del Sele Campania in Italy, and is known for its pleasantly sour taste with a vague musky tone. Sound special? I told you so!

Pasta lovers are also in for a unique treat, as Grana serves the famous Pasta di Gragnano, produced using only Italian wheat which is left to dry for several hours at 60 degrees. The very precise production process gives this pasta its super delicate and fine texture, which is perfect for creating gorgeous, al dente dishes.

Grana

The Mediterranean menu at Grana is complemented with the us of San Marzano tomatoes DOP, an absolutely iconic type of plum tomato that is longer and thinner than we are used to finding in stores here. It is this luscious tomato that creates a perfectly balanced flavour, combing sweetness, intensity and the right amount of acid for a memorable salsa di pomodoro. Combined with olio extra vergine d’oliva bio and the equally famous alici di cetara (anchovies), they are truly a wonder on the tastebuds.

The menu at Grana caters for diverse tastes – pleasing everyone from the meat and fish lover to those who just want a quick plate of pasta or pizza, or maybe even a healthy salad. And the best part is that you can enjoy a truly delicious meal without breaking the bank. Prices are very reasonable, and there’s usually an offer going on!

And while we’re not currently able to enjoy all this deliciousness within the restaurant itself, the great news is that you can still indulge in all this ben di Dio safely at home! Simply place your order via Bolt Food or Wolt Food, settle in, and get ready for the ultimate home-dining experience. Yep, it’s that simple.

You can order daily between noon and 3pm for lunch and between 6pm and 10.30pm for dinner. Buon appetito!
