According to reports, it seems that Malta is to expect its highest ever number of daily cases, with some saying we will hit a three-digit number.

Dr Frank Portelli has shared a series of posts this morning expressing his concern at the current situation. "When I warned that we were reaching the tipping point I was called alarmist," one post read.

"Either we fight this together or it will take us all down," another post read.

He's since also posted a series of numbers, which seemingly means that the number expected today is over 100.

Gerald Fenech has also shared information about the situation, with numbers also being over 100. "105 positive cases (may included restests)." He also noted that Malta's R Factor is between 1.2 and 1.3.
