Marsaskala is bursting into colour just in time for one of the town’s most anticipated summer events – Lejla Sajfija! A vibrant new mural has just been unveiled at St Thomas Bay in Zonqor, celebrating the heart and soul of Maltese heritage. The artwork, rich in local symbolism, features two beloved icons of the islands – the classic old Maltese bus and the colourful fishing luzzu – capturing a slice of tradition against a modern seaside backdrop.

This eye-catching piece was painted in preparation for Lejla Sajfija, taking place this Friday 4th July, and it’s already creating a buzz among locals and visitors alike.

The annual event, set at the picturesque St Thomas' Bay, promises an unforgettable evening filled with children’s games, family-friendly entertainment, and delicious food and drinks – all with the stunning seaside setting of Marsaskala.

Don’t miss this festive evening by the sea!
