Last weekend was a memorable one! With a number of localities celebrating the Marija Bambina feast, tourists and locals alike could choose their favourite feast to attend and view the fireworks...unless they wanted to do some feast-hopping!

The Xagħra, Gozo fireworks were a magnificent testament to the rich traditions and fervent devotion of the Gozitan community. The Marija Bambina feast is one of the most significant religious celebrations on the island, and the accompanying fireworks display was nothing short of extraordinary.

These photos by Michael Azzopardi Photography vividly show that the night was aglow with the splendid colours and thunderous explosions of fireworks that painted the sky in intricate patterns and dazzling displays.

The atmosphere was electric, with cheers and applause filling the air as the breathtaking pyrotechnic show unfolded.

A captivating blend of artistry, faith, and community spirit that left a lasting impression on all who witnessed them!
