Malta is on a roll with yet another fantastic mention! In a recent feature, online magazine Coastal Living lists 10 dreamy European Islands everyone has to visit in 2019, and Malta is featured as number three!
And we obviously agree - Malta may be one of the tiniest islands in the Mediterranean, but it doesn't disappoint! As described by Coastal Living, “this tiny island nation tucked between the coastlines of Sicily and North Africa is filled with rich history and stunning architecture. With prehistoric temples and walled medieval cities, visitors flock here largely for the culture fix (though beaches are next-level, too).”
Malta has so much to offer, from beautiful beaches and stunning views to temples older than Egypt's Pyramids!
Narrow and lively streets are also a prime attraction, especially in the older cities like Valletta, Mdina and Birgu, all inundated with history.
And how can we forget the beautiful, clear blue sea around the islands? It's wonderful in pictures, and even more breath-taking in person!
