Economic, efficient and totally eco-friendly!

Being eco-friendly and eco-conscious is something that many businesses around Malta and Gozo are constantly striving to achieve in their work ethos. Now more than ever, there is the need to look after the local environment and safeguard it for future generations.

In keeping with this, Dhalia Real Estate have come up with an amazing (and totally cool) initiative that has not only become an efficient tool for their work but is also helping make Malta greener. #Score

The cool initiative

Benji Psaila, manager at Dhalia’s Gzira office, reveals all about the company's new electric scooters (I know, right?!) that the real estate agents have introduced for their team. “Since we’re constantly in and out of the office and work anywhere between St Julian’s and Ta’Xbiex, it makes life much easier for our employees and is faster when getting around to meet clients, be it to list their properties or meet those who are interested in buying or renting.” The lightweight scooters are also foldable, making them easier to carry around and store when not in use.

“We’re really trying to address a main issue,” Mr Psaila says, referring to the amount of pollution around us, asserting that the team is attempting to do their part to combat the situation. “While it’s also an efficient way of getting around, it’s also eco-friendly, and with this kicking off we can have a better chance of having less vehicles on Malta’s roads.”

Dhalia’s scooters

Mr Psaila says that they’ve been seeing scooters of the sort out and about on the roads, which gave the Dhalia office the idea of having their own branded scooters for employees who choose this option. “Our work is very fast-paced, so these scooters also help save time when meeting clients and listing properties,” Mr Psaila notes.

Working with Dhalia

Think these guys have the right attitude? Why not form part of the team? Dhalia is currently looking for bright young individuals to join their letting team. “We’ve been in the business for almost 40 years, so upcoming real estate agents can make a career with us,” Mr Psaila encourages. “It’s very much an on-the-go job, so we’re looking for young, fresh and energetic people to join the team.”
