Car broke down? You can call a tow truck for FREE throughout Malta’s scholastic year
This service will help keep traffic disruptions to a minimum.

Francesca Xuereb

The scholastic year has started for students and teachers all over the Maltese islands, and that can only mean one thing – traffic.

As motorists far and wide dread their morning commute, Transport Malta has come through with a measure to help curb excessive traffic.

All throughout this scholastic year, motorists can make use of Transport Malta’s tow truck service for free, thus helping to clear the roads of any stalled vehicles.

The service will be available from Monday to Friday between 6am and 9:30am and 3:30pm and 6:30pm.

Should you ever need this service, just call freephone 80073399 and a Transport Malta enforcement officer will be sent to your location to direct traffic and help move your vehicle to a safe spot, away from any oncoming traffic.
