Many soft drinks and beer bottles have changed their branding over the years to reflect the times, but a recently unearthed picture of a number of old bottles has allowed the nostalgia to kick in.

Featuring some of the most popular drinks in Malta, the picture shows various Schweppes drinks like Tonic Water, Soda Water and Bitter Lemon. While their main logo has remained largely unchanged the shape of the bottle is now different.

Of more interest are the beer bottles, with local brew Cisk featuring among them but without the bright yellow, red and blue hues we associate with it today.

Collectively, these bottles date back between 30 to 50 years and are deemed a collector's item by some.

I wonder if they still taste the same after all these years?
