Witness a mannequin makeover like no other!

Looking to experience something truly unique in Malta’s art scene? This upcoming exhibition will be combining sustainability, creativity and European collaboration in the most unexpected way – through mannequins!

‘Europe in Colors – Mannequins of Malta’ is a bold new art exhibition showcasing 37 repurposed mannequins, each transformed into a striking work of art by 37 different artists from Malta, Gozo, and across the EU. These everyday retail forms have been reimagined as vibrant canvases, reflecting not just artistic talent but also the diverse cultural identities of the European community.

The exhibition is the brainchild of Paul Chetcuti, whose passion for the arts and commitment to sustainability inspired the concept. His vision involves giving a second life to unused mannequins while giving artists a fresh and exciting platform to share their work.

Here are the exhibition details:

Official launch: Friday, 1st August at 7pm

Open to the public:

  • Saturday 2nd & Saturday 9th August – 9am to 11am
  • Monday 3rd to Friday 8th August – 9am to 5pm

Location: Škoda Showroom, Mdina Road, Żebbuġ

This one-of-a-kind event invites the public to experience a fusion of visual art and imagination, celebrating the quirky and artistic spirit of local and European talent. Turn up curious and ready to learn something new about the role mannequins play in art.

Will you be there?
