“I don’t know what to call this but surely there is someone up there who’s designing our path.”
“I was not really a very religious person before all of this ALS situation started. However, since then, some incredible events have happened,” local ALS advocate and victim, Bjorn Formosa, says in his latest post to socials.
Lately, Bjorn has been suffering kidney pain (for 50 days to be precise) and the pain was only getting worse. “I was even admitted to hospital for 14 days and sent back home because the operation was too risky.”
Bjorn explains that he was in severe pain over the past couple of days, even having a scheduled appointment this morning for the last scan before potentially undergoing a very risky and unwanted surgery to hopefully cure the matter. “However, I was so tired, I didn’t wake up for the hospital appointment. Moments later I passed a huge stone in my bed and this unsolvable problem suddenly disappeared.”
As can be imagined, after 50 days of constant pain, Bjorn was stunned that everything suddenly went away. “I don’t know what to call this but surely there is someone up there who’s designing our path. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. You really helped me a lot!” he says, thanking the public for their constant support.
“Incidentally today we are also removing the first stones from the Newer & Bigger DAR Bjorn!” he announces. “After all this, we focus more with greater input to deliver this unique and incredible project,” reminding people about the Xarabank fundraiser event being held on Friday 25th October. “We shall deliver another miracle!”
