Attention all aviation lovers! The beloved Malta airshow is finally back after a three-year absence, and a date has also been announced!

The Malta Aviation Society and the Ministry for Tourism have confirmed that the next airshow will be on 26^th and 27^th September 2020, following several discussions and negotiations between the organisation, stakeholders and the ministry.

The Malta International Airshow 2020 will be the 26^th edition of this event, which is attended by thousands of locals as well as foreign aviation enthusiasts. Having been to a few myself in the past, I must say it’s an incredible sight to witness.

Just last month, the society announced that preparations for the 2020 show were at a halt, but thankfully, this is no longer the case.

The shows over the last two years were reportedly cancelled due to complaints of lack of financial support from the Tourism Ministry, according to the Malta Aviation Society. But whatever the case may be, we're glad it's back!
