And now, we're so pleased to learn that MUŻA will officially be opening its doors to the public on Saturday 15th December! And that's not all - on the day, Heritage Malta will be organizing an Open Day starting from 10am and carrying on right through to midnight, with free entrance to all! After that, the museum will be open from Sunday 16th December, MUŻA as per Heritage Malta’s museum hours, from 9am to 5pm (last entry at 4:30pm).

MUŻA, an acronym for Mużew tal-Arti (Art Museum) seeks to present inspiring stories with its collection of over 20,000 works of art. Located in the heart of Valletta, the building has two entrances, one from Merchants Street and the other from Jean de Valette Square. The beauty of the building will undoubtedly entice people to wander in from the street into the courtyard and exhibit beyond, and they certainly won't be disappointed! Apart from the gallaries displaying priceless works of art, MUŻA is also equipped with a cafeteria and a dining room, a tourist information office, and a concept store.

This week, MUŻA will be hosting a number of events as part of the Malhalla Festival being held every day from 6pm onwards, including events such as discussions, films and community projects. Through these events, MUŻA shall be showcasing the works of international artists from various Mediterranean regions, some of whom have also prepared works in Malta.
