Qormi stationery Bureau Vallee is “momentarily closed” as one of their team members tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend. The store notified their clientele of the situation this morning.

The team member was notified as positive for COVID-19 on Saturday at 3pm and was immediately sent home to quarantine. “At 3.30pm the shop was closed,” they said, sharing that the other three people on shift were also sent home to isolate. All of them will not be returning to work until seven days pass and have tested negative.

“A proper and total sanitisation is already booked for tonight at 6pm. As soon as the certificate is issued (virus killed after a duration of 30 minutes) we will update our page and re-open (by tomorrow most probably).”

“All our team members are always wearing masks and cleaning their hands in all circumstances but for the safety of all, we may encourage our Saturday clients to do a test within seven days if symptoms are appearing,” they concluded, apologising for any inconvenience caused.
