Get ready! A mad thunderstorm is brewing on the Maltese Islands and according to the Met Office, we can expect it anytime today.

“Frequent thunderstorms with moderate to heavy showers and possibly with hail are expected to affect the Maltese Islands,” reads the Met Office’s weather warning. Other weather sites also concur, warning of the dark skies and heavy rain ahead.  

But our burning question is: What’s in store for the weekend?

Today we should be experiencing thundery showers, according to the Met Office with temps reaching lows of 16°C. Way to welcome in November, Mother Nature! Tomorrow isolated showers are expected, while it is forecast to be partly cloudy on Sunday. Seems like a weekend indoors is on the books!
