Your local weather woman checking in here, and I’m afraid I’m the bearer of bad news. According to multiple weather sites, we’re in for a dreadful weekend (weather-wise at least).

Local weather site Malta Weather says that we should expect “strong winds and rain showers that may be thundery at times across Malta and Gozo this coming weekend, particularly on Sunday, as an upper-level trough moves across the central Mediterranean.” And get this, any rain is expected to be blood rain! Mother Nature, we’re over this now.

According to It-Temp Madwarna, “low pressure that will form in the gulf of Genoa is expected to bring along rain showers and storms, with colder than average temperatures expected as cold currents pass through Europe.” I mean, is this May, or March?

Hey, what can I say, if your outdoor weekend plans (like mine) just got cancelled, get cracking and think of Plan B. Whether it’s dinner at your favourite resto, a cinema date, or a chilled games night at home, there are still loads of stuff we can do indoors. Just because the weather is set to be dreadful, doesn’t mean our weekend has to be. #Positivity
