It seems like just yesterday that we announced the opening of an adorable new tearoom and café in the heart of Balzan, and since then, Carolina’s Petit Café has become a favourite haunt for many.

And now, they’ve only gone and done it again – with a brand new spot in Qawra opening its doors TODAY!

The new space

Taking design inspo from the original Balzan café, the new spot is as cute as ever, featuring the same chintz drapery, floral touches and elegant furniture.

There are cute details literally everywhere you look, from lace curtains and striped wallpaper to antique gilt mirrors and carved wooden tables and chairs.

But the pièce de résistance in this new spot has GOT to be the retro kitchen set-up, which looks like it jumped straight out of the 1970s. Complete with matching pink appliances and adorable retro fridge, who can resist those pastel chequered tiles and formica table and chairs? Talk about a throwback!

Located close to Qawra’s Bella Vista Hotel, the new café opened its doors for the first time just this morning, and we can’t wait to check it out!
