Renewing your passport just got way easier!

According to reports made by TVM News, Identity Agency Malta are in the process of launching two new services.

One of them, is the long awaited and very much needed service of notifying passport holders when their passport is about to expire.

This will surely give many Maltese travellers ample time to renew their passport and prevent any unnecessary panic and stress at the airport.

“Many times, people are about to travel when they realise their passport has expired. Therefore, we’re sending an automatic message so if one’s passport is about to expire, they will receive a text notifying them that it’s time to change their passport”, Identity Malta CEO, Mark Mallia stated.

Apart from this, they will be providing a new service in order to combat the problem of never-ending queues at their office.

From now on, people can make an appointment online and choose a time and day that best suits them. Once the appointment is confirmed, people can comfortably go to Passport office in Marsa and avoid all the annoying waiting.

A very much needed update!
