Are you #TeamKhaleesi or #TeamSnow? Here's how to get ready for Game of Thrones' return
Who will take their rightful seat at the Iron Throne?

Kristina Cassar Dowling

It’s a battle between the living and the dead. Yes, its the return of Game of Thrones, and we can't wait! And what happens next is a complete mystery!

Everyone’s got an opinion of how things will play out when the Iron Throne is in sight, and if you're a true fan, you’re likely to have imagined every possible outcome and are eager to get back to weekly moments of suspense. Here’s how you can get yourself ready.

1. Catch-up craze

Although it’s quite a feat to re-watch the entire series, the more you watch, the more you understand, and there’s bound to be something that needs clarifying. The family tree for some of our characters does seem to get a little complicated here and there. But, watching it again is all gain - no losses here!

2. Get someone else hooked

Urge a colleague, family member or neighbour to watch GoT as religiously as you do. It’s so hard to keep your mouth shut with the serious buzz around this TV show, so having someone to share it with is awesome! The more the merrier actually: so many different interpretations, so many questions.

3. Follow the comments

Get yourself a decent TV app that gives you all the deets from the Game of Thrones community. Follow the actors too! You’ll be surprised by what they say about the series. Little sneak previews, interviews about costumes, scenes and fellow actors are fantastic to ensure you're all up-to-date. All great fun and all pretty current!

4. Give the books a go

The five books written by George R. R. Martin are excellently laid out and totally addictive. Let your imagination pair John Snow’s character representation in the novel with his character’s depiction in the series. Discover new little tit bits and put the pieces together as you read on!

The countdown is ticking away, and after tireless waiting, we’re finally very very close...
