Valletta was once the home of streets upon streets of quaint little shops and stores, all adorned with beautiful signage, however many have been converted into modern establishments over the years.

Now, one of these last shops standing is also believed to be in for a similar fate.

A photo shared to local Facebook page Belt Valletta reveals that Kingsway Store, a famous toy shop, is currently under refurbishment. Rumour has it that the iconic Republic Street store will be converted into a cafeteria space.

Another one bites the dust!
