An excuse to do nothing at all! Here are some great ways to enjoy Worker's Day in Malta
Take your pick!

Jillian Mallia

Workers’ Day is a public holiday on the rock and, so, it is obviously the perfect excuse to chill. Not sure what to do yet? Here’s all the fun you can get up to!

1. All the food!

Going for lunch, or maybe even brunch, is a privilege we usually only have on the weekend. Grab your mates, wear those sunnies and head to your favourite foodie spot.

2. Have a lie in

There’s nothing better than sleeping in on a public holiday, chilling in bed for the WHOLE day and catching up on those socials (and don't forget to do a little shameless celeb stalking). #SorryNotSorry

3. Binge-watch your faves

You’ve been busy and haven't had the chance to check out that long list of TV series. Take the off day to chill the heck out while binging on all those episodes you’ve been missing out on.  #NetflixAndChill

4. Literally...chill

Whether it’s sitting in sunshine or going all bed-bug, take that time to mentally recharge for the remainder of the week. #NoNetflixJustChill

5. Do something you’ve been meaning to do

Maybe go for a walk, pick up that book that’s been collecting dust for the past month, or get back to that hobby you abandoned. The choices are endless!

6. Venture into the great outdoors

Take advantage of your day off and head to the great outdoors. Explore one of the gorgeous spots around the islands such as Chadwick Lakes, St Peter’s Pool, and the natural park of Buskett.

7. Beach it!

One of the best things to do on a day off (if it’s fab weather obvs) is heading to the beach with a good book to soak up some warm spring sun.

8. Explore the island

An off day is the perfect excuse to explore a part of the island you haven’t seen before. Find all those Instagram spots for the perfect social media shot.
