An avant-garde delight! Temporary exhibition set to feature two extraordinary artists at Il-Ħaġar Museum in Gozo

Il-Ħaġar Museum in Victoria, Gozo, is set to be the focal point for art enthusiasts and history buffs alike as it hosts a remarkable temporary exhibition from the 11th of November to the 7th of January.
This exhibition will feature the extraordinary works of two avant-garde graphic artists, Giovanni Battista Piranesi and Max Klinger.
Giovanni Battista Piranesi, an Italian artist from the 18th century, is renowned for his intricate etchings, particularly his iconic "Vedute di Roma" and "Le Carceri."
Visitors to the exhibition will have the rare opportunity to view a selection from both these series, including a stunning map of Rome, providing a unique glimpse into the past.
Max Klinger, a German artist from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, is best known for his series of prints. One of his famous works, "Paraphrase über den Fund eines Handschuhes" or simply "A Glove," consisting of ten etchings, will also be on display.
