“Together with Minister Ian Borg, we launched a new public transport route X300 that will directly link the Cirkewwa Terminal to University, Mater Dei, Junior College and Valletta,” and will be coordinated with the Gozo Channel travel times.
“This is an important step to reduced waiting times for Gozitans to arrive at their place of work or educational institutes.”
The schedule for this new route will be synchronised with the Gozo Channel ferry schedule, and will operate only at the Ċirkewwa, Skate Park (Mater Dei Hospital and University), Kulleġġ (Junior College students) and Valletta Terminus stops, so users can travel from one end of the route to the other in around 60 minutes. The route will start operating from Monday to Friday from 6.00 am to 6.45pm from October 2020, with four dedicated 12-metre vehicles introduced to the service in 2020, which include free Wi-Fi and USB Charging Ports.
