Let’s be real, the reason we go over to our friends’ houses so often is because we absolutely adore hanging out with their pets (more than we do with them, but shhh). Rather than risk popping a vein in traffic to visit your friend and their pooch, why not adopt your own companion from Association for Abandoned Animals?

Currently working tirelessly to rehome several animals, these are some cuties which could become your newest family member.

1. Lady the Pointer Cross

This three-month old Labrador/Pointer mix is still relatively tiny but will grow into a medium-sized dog. Known for their sweet temperament, they are the perfect addition to a family seeking to expand.

2. Princess the Chihuaha

Although currently under five months old, Princess’s size is not expected to change much. Want to fulfil your Legally Blonde fantasy? Here’s your chance.

3. Unnamed, Fox Terrier Pitbull

Fully trained, neutered and vaccinated, this one-year old cutie is more than ready to be adopted. All he’s missing is someone to match his energy – could that be you?

4. Kaya, breed unknown

This sweetheart was abandoned at the sanctuary and needs a lot of TLC to help her overcome the stress of abandonment. We know Malta’s full of big hearts, so reach out people!

5. Krista, Chucky & Kate the Chihuahuas

These three come with an absolutely heart shattering story. Originally a band of five, they were dumped into a field with two of them getting run over when they ventured out of their box. Krista, Chucky & Kate share a list of issues namely skin problems, eye infections and scarring, so they need a patient and attentive nurse to bring them back to full health.

These are only a few of the animals which the association is trying to rehome. While we’d obviously love to help rehome these cuties, please make sure you have the time and means to add these dogs into your life before adopting!
