The Mdina Cathedral Museum is raising more awareness and is working towards becoming the first autism-friendly museum on the Maltese Islands. “At the Mdina Cathedral Museum, we are committed to increasing accessibility to everyone since we believe that everyone has the right to appreciate, enjoy and learn from our cultural heritage,” Mdina Metropolitan Chapter wrote in a Facebook post.

“The museum is preparing itself to become the first autism-friendly museum in Malta. The initiative will be launched at the end of September; until then, the museum staff is receiving professional training to be in a better position to make a visit to our museum an enjoyable one for anyone on the Autism spectrum as well as their relatives.” #Inclusivity
