A unique accommodation! Phase one of Delimara lighthouse restoration completed as it opens to the public
It dates all the way back to the mid 19th century.

The historic Delimara Lighthouse has completed its first phase of restoration and is already looking even better.

But what makes this lighthouse so incredibly unique is the fact that it can actually be rented, and you can stay overnight. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in a lighthouse?

As the first phase is completed, reservations are open once more.

The light house has two sets of separate apartments, that have space for up to ten people each. They were once used as housing for the lighthouse keepers.

Delimara Lighthouse is run by the non-governmental organisation, Din l-Art Helwa.

It has views of Marsaskala and Birżebbuġa which is found opposite the lighthouse. It is also close to the stunning Saint Peter's Pool.

It was first originally built in 1854 and was modelled after the Giordan lighthouse in Gozo.
