Tempus Adest! The time has come to experience St John’s Co-Cathedral's rich timekeeping history for yourself. The cathedral has just announced that they will be introducing guided tours for an exclusive exploration of the Belfry, Clock Room and Balcony.
Now’s your chance to step into the fascinating world of ancient civilizations' timekeeping inventions, from incense clocks to sundials, water clocks, mechanical clocks, and pendulum clocks and be able to witness the evolution of timekeeping right before your eyes.

The tour will start by ascending a narrow spiral staircase of 99 steps to the belfry, where you'll experience the mechanical movements of the clock and hear the enchanting chimes of the bells. The tour includes a visit to the balcony and the clock room, where the intricate workings of the mechanical clock are revealed.
For just €5 per person, St John’s Co-Cathedral is allowing you to indulge in a 20-minute journey through history.

Tickets can be purchased at the door, and tours are available on specific days with multiple time slots. The tours run from Monday to Saturday, offering an interesting blend of history and architecture in the heart of Malta's capital city.
