Ta’ Qali will soon get a new concert area for the public to enjoy as works are now nearing completion!

Up until a few years ago, this same exact area was used as dump for concrete but it has now being given a new lease on life.

The area will now be home to all kinds of facilities so mass events can be held to the highest levels.

This will include backstage dressing rooms, an underground backstage, a clinic, a security control room, two kiosks and 144 toilets. All the water that will be used for the events that will be held in this area will be brought from a nearby underground reservoir.

When not being used for concerts or mass events, the open area will be also be available as a recreational space to the public.

The first concert in this new area is expected to be held in the last quarter of this year.
