It was quite the evening for the southern locality of Kalkara yesterday. For the first time, the incredible dome at the parish church of St Joseph was lit up gorgeously ahead of the locality’s feast celebrations this week.

Wayne Aquilina, Kalkara’s mayor shared quite the shot of the locality’s dome all lit up with vibrant festa colours. “A dream for Kalkara! For the first time the Kalkara Parish Dome is being lit for the local feast. Well done to anyone involved,” wrote the local council’s Facebook page.

The southern feast, dedicated to St Joseph, is on this weekend!
