The popular swimming spot may not be so peaceful during the day, but you’ll definitely get some quiet time if you go later on in the afternoon and possibly steer clear of the crowds.

Dwejra’s Inland Sea is a great spot for some down-time after a hectic day. Dip your toes into the cool water and take your much-needed weekend breather.

Just on the outskirts of Rabat, Imtahleb is a gorgeous, off-the-beaten track kind of place and a perfect one to wind down this weekend.

Taking a stroll through the quieter streets of Malta’s capital is just what you need after a busy work week. And let’s face it – it’s a glorious place to be.

If this isn’t zen enough, we don’t know what is. The Ta’ Pinu church in Gozo oozes tranquillity and is a perfect, peaceful place to head to this weekend.
