Decades-old establishment Charles Butcher announced that it will be closing its doors after a whopping 70 years of operations.

The shop revealed the news in an advert on today’s issue of the Times of Malta, wherein it also revealed that the business is now ‘up for sale’.

Located in Victory Square, Charles Butcher is widely loved amongst the Naxxar community thanks to its quality cuts of meat, friendly service, and good prices.

“After 70 years, we are sad to announce the closure of our business around mid-September due to retirement,” the advert reads.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our suppliers, friends, family, and of course our loyal customers and employees for all their support over the years,” it continues.

The establishment will keep operating normally up until its impending closure.
