The caves round Paradise Bay are incredible. Rent a paddle boat or kayak and venture round the bay to witness these beautiful sea shelters that are definitely worth a snap!
6. Calypso’s Cave at Ramla Bay, Gozo
Calypso’s cave naturally has a historical connection. The cave actually overlooks the red sands of Ramla l-Hamra and has an underlying sea cave. It is said that Calypso kept Odysseus as a “prisoner of love” in this very cave for seven years.
7. Ta’ Kalanka, Marsaxlokk
Ta’ Kalanka sea cave is one of the lesser known beauties in the southern seaside town of Marsaxlokk. The beautiful cave was carved into the rock and is now a great spot to relax on a beautiful summer’s day.
