On the 21st of December, the first edition of the 'Il-Mużika Tgħaqqadna' concert for L-Istrina will take place at the MFCC in Ta' Qali.

Over an impressive 140 artists have all kindly and voluntarily decided to perform in order to raise as much funds as possible for The Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF).

During the launch for such an incredible event, President George Vella thanked the musicians from 33 band societies, choirs, actors, and dancers who are all coming together through music for an important cause.

“Families will have another opportunity to enjoy themselves while continuing to closely appreciate the social, educational and cultural value of bands in the life of our towns and villages”, President Vella expressed.

Noel Camilleri, the president of the Għaqda Nazzjonali Każini tal-Banda explained that the concert, which will include several Christmas songs and other classics, will be different from other concerts due to new arrangements including the participation of actors, dancers, and choirs.

“This concert will be another important link where music really brings us together for one goal, that of continuing to help those truly in need”, Mr Camilleri added.

The concert will be under the musical direction of Mro Daniel Vella and Mro Justin Martin, and the artistic direction of Daniel Cauchi.

Ron Briffa will be the event's presenter and he will surely keep everyone entertained in-between all the amazing acts that are set to perform.
