Air Malta

Malta’s national airline announced this afternoon that passengers flying in the next 48 hours are being asked to call the call centre on +356 25991230 to avail themselves from one of three options: to cancel their flights, get a full refund or change their ticket for a future date. For those whose flights depart later than that, passengers are invited to email the airline on the following email: [email protected].

Ryanair

The budget airline also announced a similar plan on their Facebook page: “For bookings for travel from today (13 Mar) until Tue 31 Mar, Ryanair will waive the flight change fee for customers who wish to change their travel plans due to the current Covid-19 outbreak. This policy applies to all existing and new bookings,” the post read. Ryanair also reassured customers affected by flight cancellations that in compliance with company policy, they are entitled to a refund or a free move onto an alternative Ryanair flight.
