YAS! Maltese architecture firm commissioned to design a new lift tower for Paris hospital
Maltese architecture firm, AP Valletta just scored big! The company won a competition to design a new lift tower in Paris’ ‘Hopital Avicenne’ located in Bobigny in the northern suburbs of the capital.
“We are very excited to take on this new adventure, its challenges and rewards. Well done to the team!” the company said on Facebook, announcing their first project in Paris. Ooh, la, la!
The hospital, originally opened in 1935, is now a university hospital catering for the population. “The hospital campus area is 9 hectares, with internal roads and green areas. The buildings were built over the years as the hospital expanded,” AP Valletta shared in their website’s news section.
