Mr and Mrs Chippy will be extending their days to cover more areas over the Maltese Islands. The Chippy Van began operating early this year on Malta’s sister isle, mainly in Marsalforn and Victoria. The Yorkshire family’s business immediately shot through the roof, because let’s face it, anything food-related is bound to be a hit on our islands!

A little over a month ago, The Chippy Van announced that they’ll be crossing the sea and coming over to Malta to serve up their delish fish and chips in Mellieha on Thursdays. It was such a hit (obvs) that they’ll be coming down more often! #GodBlessRuhi

“Mellieha has been a huge success,” they told me. “So huge, that the queues were crazy, and some people waited for over an hour!” Believe me, they’re worth the wait. And those battered ġbejniet? Ugh, drool-worthy! “We have extended our days in Mellieha to Thursdays and Sundays from 5pm to 9pm.” The Chippy Van will be in Marsalforn on Fridays and in Fort Chambray on Mondays in order to cover more areas in the Gozo.

But, wait there’s more! The Chippy Van will also be coming down to St Paul’s Bay from 5pm to 9pm every Saturday. Jesus, take the wheel because we cannot handle all this chippy goodness!
