What an honour! Maltese costume designer earns EMMY nomination for work on Netflix series, 'Ripley'
Ernest Camilleri was nominated in the ‘Outstanding Period Costumes for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie’ category.
Ernest’s nomination recognises his exceptional work as wardrobe supervisor on the Netflix miniseries ‘Ripley’, specifically for the fourth episode titled ‘IV La Dolce Vita’.
The series ‘Ripley’ has garnered a total of 13 EMMY nominations, including Outstanding Limited Series, Lead Actor in a Limited Series, and Directing for a Limited Series, among others.
In fact, Ernest’s colleague, Gianni Casalnuovo, who is also an EMMY nominee, shared his excitement on social media saying:
‘The most intense and beautiful working experience so far continues to bring us joy. Ripley has received 13 Emmy nominations, including one for us for Best Costume Design in a Limited Series’.
