Chellcy Reitsma achieved a historic milestone by being accepted as a GRAMMY Voting Member of The Recording Academy, making her one of the very few Maltese artists to hold such a prestigious role in the global music industry.

Following a competitive and thorough application process, Chellcy was selected from a large pool of international applicants by her music industry peers. This honour allows her to directly participate in shaping the future of music by submitting songs for GRAMMY consideration and voting on GRAMMY nominations and final winners.

Her new role also grants her access to key industry events, including The GRAMMY Awards themselves, and empowers her to contribute to The Recording Academy’s mission of supporting creators year-round.

For Malta, this marks a proud moment. Chellcy’s membership not only celebrates her individual success but also raises Malta’s profile in the international music community. She now serves as a cultural ambassador for Maltese artists on one of the world’s most recognised music platforms.

Congratulations goes to Chellcy Reitsma, and to Malta’s music scene, for this exciting step forward!
