What an achievement! 11 hotels in Malta included in the Forbes Travel Guide Star Award Winners list

The Forbes Travel Guide, the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and ocean cruises have announced their 2024 Travel Guide Star Award list.

A total of 11 of Malta and Gozo’s best hotels have made it onto this prestigious list. Being included in this incredible list is without a doubt an achievement to be proud of.

The list included hotels from all across the globe, where each hotel was given the status of either ‘Recommended’, ‘4 Star’ or ‘5 Star’.

According to Forbes ‘Recommended’ hotels have “excellent properties with consistently good service and facilities” while ‘4 star’ hotels have “exceptional properties, offering high levels of service and quality of facility to match”. On the other hand, ‘5 star’ properties “deliver an outstanding experience and consistently offer a highly customized level of service”.

Here’s how Malta and Gozo’s hotels were ranked:

AX The Saint John Boutique, Valletta

Hilton Malta, St Julian’s

Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz, Gozo

Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa, St Julian’s  

Radisson Blu Resort and Spa – Golden Sands, Mellieha

Rosselli – AX Privilege, Valletta

4 star:

Corinthia Palace, Attard

Hyatt Regency, St Julian’s

The Phoenicia Malta, Floriana

The Westin Dragonara, St Julian’s

5 star:

Iniala Harbour, Valletta
