If this isn’t a throwback, we don’t know what is! Local iconic beer Cisk recently posted a super cool video montage of Farsons’ Cisk adverts dating back to the late '60s and early '70s, and we're loving them!

The video features black and white adverts and the slogan, “Kulhadd jaghzel Farsons” meaning “Everyone chooses Farsons.” And let’s face it, judging by their 90-year legacy, it’s not hard to see why!

The incredible ads

The video features four different ads by Farsons promoting its variety of beers in different settings. Be it at the beach, out shopping or in a social situation – Farsons is there!

1. Beach day

The first advert shows a perfect summer’s day in Malta, which is the ultimate definition of ‘beachin’ it.’ A boy drops his ball in the sea, hitting a diver, who immediately throws it back at him. The next shot shows the diver sipping his beer on the rocks. #Chillin

2. Fancy a Cisk?

The second advert shows a couple sailing and coming ashore to rest. But once they’ve had their beer, they’re ready to go at it again! The slogan is a little different in this one: “Everyday a Farsons beer puts the bounce back in you!” – now imagine a posh British voice saying that. Sounds fancy!

3. Shopping

The next advert shows that beer is for all – including women out doing some shopping , who want a refreshing, cold beer. And yeah, why not?

4. Footie

The fourth and final advert shows an all-too-typical Maltese scenario: a football game. The spectators drink while watching their favourite teams, and the players join in after the match for a quick drink with the lads.
