Sara recently made waves by earning her senior debut with the national women’s team!
Maltese football prodigy Sara Saliba is set to embark on an exciting new chapter in her career with Serie A club AC Milan. Sportsdesk by Times of Malta confirmed that Sara has reached an agreement to join AC Milan’s Primavera team.
On Tuesday, the young footballer was at Milanello, where she underwent a successful medical examination to finalise her transfer.
Recognised as one of Malta’s promising young talents, Sara recently made waves by earning her senior debut with the national women’s team, coming on as a substitute during the Euro 2025 qualifier against Portugal.
This move marks Sara Saliba's second venture into Italian football. Last season, she began with Pomigliano before returning to Malta to join Birkirkara. Her impact at Birkirkara was significant, helping the team achieve a remarkable treble by securing the Super Cup, National League, and Knock Out competition. Notably, she scored the second goal in Birkirkara’s 2-0 victory over Hibernians in the Knock Out final.
Sara's new role with AC Milan Primavera underscores her growing reputation and sets the stage for her continued development in one of Europe's most competitive football environments.
Well done, Sara!
