Maltese sprinter Thea Parnis Coleiro delivered an outstanding performance at the European Youth Olympic Festival, earning a well-deserved place in the 200m final.

Racing at the National Stadium Todor Proeski, Thea clocked an impressive 24.06 seconds in the semi-final, securing third place in her heat and advancing to the final round.

Her powerful sprint didn’t just secure her a spot among Europe’s top young athletes — it also saw her break the national record in both the Under 18 and Under 20 categories.

A fantastic achievement for Thea, who continues to raise the bar for Maltese athletics on the international stage.
